Terms of sale

Terms of sale

Terms of Sale applicable to any order placed with Cubic Corner, for the design of spawns, hubs, lobbies, game maps and custom Minecraft creations.

1. Purpose

These Terms of Sale govern the contractual relationship between Cubic Corner ("the provider") and any individual or entity ("the client") placing an order for a custom Minecraft creation via the site or through direct exchange (Discord, email).

2. Quote and order

Every request goes through an initial quote, drawn up after discussing the desired scope, theme and budget. The order is only considered firm once the client has accepted the quote and paid the deposit set out in article 3.

3. Price and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars (USD), including all applicable taxes. A deposit is requested once the quote is validated to start production; the balance is due on delivery, before the final files (world, schematics) are handed over.

The exact payment terms (deposit amount, payment method) are agreed case by case during the exchange preceding the order.

4. Delivery times

Announced timeframes are given as an indication based on the project's complexity and current workload. The provider commits to keeping the client informed of progress via the dedicated tracking space.

5. Revisions

Every order includes reasonable touch-ups requested before final delivery. Once the creation is delivered, the client has 14 days to request minor adjustments at no extra cost, via their client tracking space. Past this deadline, any change requires a new quote.

6. Right of withdrawal

Under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized — which is the case for any custom Minecraft creation. The client is informed of this before any deposit is paid.

7. Intellectual property and license

Unless otherwise stated in the quote, the delivered creation is granted to the client under a usage license for their server (or their end client's server), non-exclusive and non-transferable to a third party without the provider's consent. The provider retains the right to showcase the creation in their portfolio, unless the client explicitly requests otherwise.

Creations sold as ready-to-use products (catalogue, BuiltByBit) are subject to the license terms specified on their respective listing.

8. Liability

The provider commits to delivering a creation that matches the validated quote. Their liability cannot be engaged in the event of non-compliant use of the delivered creation, modification by a third party, or incompatibility with a Minecraft version not specified in the quote.

9. Disputes

In the event of disagreement, the client is invited to contact the provider to reach an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute falls under French law and the competent courts, subject to the mandatory provisions applicable to consumers.
